The City is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the Work shown, or as described by, or reasonably inferred from the contract documents. Without limiting the qualification of the foregoing, the work consists of the following:

• Reconstruction of Trout Lake Road from east of Highway 17 to Kingsway Avenue 
• Realignment of Laurentian Avenue, including associated roadside ditches 
• Intersection improvements at Trout Lake Road and Laurentian Avenue, including construction of a roundabout and associated storm sewer works 
• Streetlighting improvements including replacement of various existing roadway lighting fixtures, the addition of new roadway lighting fixtures and pole assemblies, and pedestrian lighting fixtures and pole assemblies. 
• Construction of a multi-use path and sidewalk along Trout Lake Road and Laurentian Avenue 
• A new transit bus pad/shelter and on-street bicycle lanes along Laurentian Avenue 
• Construction of a maintenance access road along the existing Laurentian Avenue

The Bidder agrees to achieve Completion (per GC 1.06) of the whole of the Work comprising the Contract by no later than October 15, 2026 given the written order to commence Work from the Engineer has been provided to the Contractor by June 3, 2026.
