The City of North Bay is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the Premier Road Sewage Pumping Station, Forcemain, Sanitary Sewer, and Road Reconstruction project, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The deliverables include but are not limited to the following:

1. Premier Road triplex sewage pumping station (SPS) and Forcemain.
2. Sanitary sewer from the existing SPS to new location.
3. Reconstruction of Premier Road from Lakeshore Drive to Hollywood Street
4. Rehabilitation of Premier Road including drainage improvements from Hollywood Street to Fowler Street (unopened)
5. Dewatering for wet well, sanitary sewer and other linear infrastructure.
6. SPS wet well shoring.
7. Rock Blasting.
8. Restoration of disturbed area to existing or better conditions.

Completion of the Work

The successful bidder agrees to achieve Completion (as per GC 1.06) of the work by no later than the following:

1. December 15, 2026 – installation and commissioning of the Premier Road SPS including forcemain and temporary connection to existing sanitary sewer.

2. November 26, 2027 – Completion of the whole of the Work comprising the Contract. The written order to commence work will be issued by the Engineer upon receipt of resolution of council approving the award.
