The City of North Bay is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Lakeshore Drive twin Culvert Replacement, all in accordance with the attached specifications and drawing.

The Deliverables provide for the installation of twin culverts including but not limited to:

• Removal of existing infrastructure.
  • Installation of twin 900mm diameter culverts.
  • Site grading.
  • Frost treatment.
  • Restoration of sub-base and base materials.
  • Asphalt paving of road (upper and lower binder and surface).
  • Asphalt paving of path (surface)
  • Rip Rap including geotextile.
  • Grading.
  • Restoration of driveways and yards.
  • Topsoil, seed and cover.
  • Traffic control and signage
  • Other ancillary items indicated on the drawings and specifications.

Completion of the Work

The successful bidder agrees to achieve Completion of the Whole of the Work (as per GC 1.06) comprising the Contract by no later than August 14, 2026, given the written order to commence Work from the Engineer has been provided to the Contractor within five weeks of RFT submission deadline indicated in Part 1, Section 1.3.
